Frequently asked questions
- How does my pension increase?
The increases made to your pension depend on which section of the Plan you are a member of.
Please go to Section Information to find out more.
- What happens if I die once my pension is being paid?
When you die, a pension may be payable to your spouse or civil partner and dependent children. For full details of your death benefits go to Section Information.
If you die within the first five years of receiving your benefits, a cash sum may be paid equal to the outstanding instalments in the five-year period. To help the Trustee decide who should receive the lump sum benefit, please complete an Expression of wish form so they are aware of your wishes.
