- Why is the Trustee trying to trace me and who is Lexis Nexis?
The Trustee of The Pearson Pension Plan needs to keep in touch with all members and it is therefore important that we hold the current contact details for all members so we can keep them updated about their pension benefits in the Plan.
The Trustee has employed Lexis Nexis to help them trace the members that they have lost touch with.
- Why do you not have my current contact details?
Sometimes, when a member leaves employment, they forget to update us when they move house or when their circumstances change. In order to help find these members, the Trustee has employed a company called Lexis Nexis to help find members who we may have lost contact with.
- How have you found my address?
Lexis Nexis use their tracing solutions to find a member’s potential current address. They will then write to the member at that address to verify that they are the member we are looking for.
- What happens once I have confirmed my address to Lexis Nexis?
Once Lexis Nexis have confirmed your address, they will inform us and your pension record will be updated. You will then receive any regular updates from the Plan including the Annual Member Report.
- I am still concerned about the letter I have received, who can I speak to?
If you have any concerns about the letter you have received from Lexis Nexis, you can contact the team through the Contact Us form or by calling 0800 7811378 and selecting option 4.
